Beloved by all. Edward Horace Carman III, 102, died peacefully with his family by his side, in Pittsford, NY. Ed was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 73 years, Cecily Bishop Carman; the love of his life, who he met at Cornell, and his parents Edward H Carman Jr, Pauline Glover Sanders Carman, and his sister Sarah Shelton Sanders Brown.
He is survived by his children: Edward H Carman IV (Susan) of Rushville, NY, Nancy M Carman of Falls Church, VA, and James S Carman of Davis, CA; grandchildren: Edward H Carman V (Dana), Scott C Carman (Katherine), Bradford C Carman (Tara), Melissa C Skodzinsky (Mark), Colin B Carman, and 11 great grandchildren.
Ed was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. In recent years he enjoyed the company of and leaves behind his close friend and companion Sally Fay.
Ed was born in Atlanta, GA, raised in Rock Hill, and Ritter, SC, and Baltimore, MD.
